Welcome to the 2016 NHL Playoffs! We are a few weeks in and there are already so many talking points!
The Washington Capitals have escaped the first round 4-2 against the Philadelphia Flyers after leading the series 3-0. This stages a showdown between Sidney Crosby and Alex Ovechkin starting later this week.
The Dallas Stars, under the direction of coach Lindy Ruff and captain Jamie Benn have made it to the second round for the first time since 2008.
Also, the defending champion Chicago Blackhawks have come back from 2 games down to force a game 7 tonight in St. Louis. Patrick Kane seems ready to lead the Hawks to the second round against the number one seed in the West, the Dallas Stars.
From rookies and veterans to blowouts and miraculous comebacks, these playoffs have had it all and promise to continue to bring fans to the edge of their seats. Hold on tight ladies and gentlemen!
